Two Frozen Bananas is all about making easy plant based recipes. For anyone too busy to learn the long and what can-be-difficult process of figuring it out on your own. Here, you will find tried and true recipes. That even a busy mom of two (myself) can whip up quickly and please the whole family.
Going vegan is not something I encourage anyone to do overnight. Although it would be amazing for the animals, environment and your health. I have a more realistic perspective on going plant-based. It is not entirely easy. Especially if you have been eating the standard American diet your whole life. Lets face it, tofu does not taste like chicken and cashew cheese does not taste like mozzarella or cheddar. To understand what ingredients can be used to satisfy the cravings for your favorite foods. It takes a lot of patience, trial and error.
This is why I am so passionate about offering you my experience, advice and recommendations. To help make your journey as exciting and enjoyable as it should be. Whether you already practice a plant-based diet or you’re beginning to incorporate more meatless Mondays into your mealtimes. I hope that you enjoy making my recipes and also learning about the importance of certain ingredients used.
About the writer
Aside from spending time in the kitchen playing with food i enjoy spending my days with my two beautiful little girls and loving husband. Another creative outlet of mine is making things. I grew up watching my mother do crafts and I cant help control myself when I see something cute and think “wow, I’d love to make that”. As result of wanting to make things all the time I decided to get into making T-shirts. Fall and Halloween shirts are my favorite to make! I’ve decided to feature some of my crafty creations right here on this website for anyone who is intrested in purchasing them. Your support allows me to continue doing what I love Aside from playing with my family, food and crafting I also enjoy going to visit my friend Kelsey’s horse Bingo. Nothing puts a smile on my face like interacting with horses. Compassion for animals is my absolute reason for thriving on a plant-based vegan diet. Having great health, looking and feeling my best is just one of the perks.
I hope that you stick around and check out some simple recipes and then try them out on your family. Here are a couple of my favorites to get you started.
